The Concord Hospital Day Surgery Center provides ambulatory surgical services to adult and pediatric patients. Preoperative testing with a registered nurse and a nurse practitioner associate with the Concord Hospital Anesthesia Department is available. Additionally, convenient pre-operative telephone interviews are offered to patients who meet certain criteria.

The Day Surgery Center staff is certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and 95 percent of the nurses have Advanced Cardiac Life support certification. Additionally, 68 percent of the nurses are nationally certified in their specialty and 58 percent of the nurses have Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification.
We offer a pediatric preop tour upon request. The hour tour, which is led by a registered nurse, provides children and their families the opportunity to visit the Day Surgery Center prior to a scheduled procedure.
As a patient, you will receive a telephone call from one of our registered nurses the day after your surgery to make sure you are doing well and to answer any questions you have about your recovery.
Online pre-registration for a day surgery procedure is available through Concord Hospital's Web site. Patients can submit information, such as address and phone number, employer and insurance information to the hospital in advance of their procedure via a secure server.
